Madhya Pradesh CM gets threat letter
Bhopal, Oct. 23 (ANI): Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Friday received a threat letter, bearing the name of banned terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Tailba.
His security has been beefed up in the wake of the death threat.
Written in Hindi, the letter bears no address, but the sender's name was stated as LeT, said IG A K Soni adding that a team has been assigned to probe the matter.
"Prima facie it seems to be a fake letter dispatched on the behalf of LeT, still we are investigating it," he said.
The letter was posted at the official address of the Jhansi station superintendent (SS), who subsequently forwarded it to MP PHQ. (ANI)
