Maha Polls: Muslim clearic wins Malegaon seat

Mumbai, Oct 22: Maulana Mufti Ismail, a Muslim Cleric belonging to the to the Jan Surajya Party has won the Malegaon assembly seat in the 2009 Maharashtra Assembly Polls 2009.

Jan Surajya Party which is part of the Republican Left Democratic Front (RLDF).

The RLDF which known as the Third Front of eighteen parties is also leading in 10 other constituencies across Maharashtra.
