Celebrations at party office as Congress reasserts dominance among voters

New Delhi, Oct.22 (ANI): With the Congress Party registering remarkable victories in the Maharashtra, Haryana and Arunachal Pradesh State Assembly elections, upbeat party supporters danced and celebrated.

Supporters gathered outside the Congress Party office (24, Akbar Road, New Delhi), danced, cheered and raised slogans for the long life of Rahul Gandhi.

Congress supporters started celebrations even just after watching the initial trends in assembly elections of three states suggesting that the Congress was heading for a three nil sweep with or without its allies against the opposition Bharatiya Janata Party and other political rivals.

Elections were held last week (October 13) in Maharashtra, Haryana and Arunachal Pradesh states and a hard-fought contest was witnessed, particularly in Maharashtra. (ANI)
