TCS wins IT project from MP Govt

Mumbai, Oct 16: India's top software firm, Tata Consultancy Services has won an IT project worth Rs 2.93 billion from Madhya Pradesh Government, an official said on Friday, Oct 16.

S A Ansari, Chief Engineer of Madhya Pradesh said, "For the IT implementation work, Tata Consultancy Services has been selected as the L-1 (lowest bidder)."

According to Ansari, the project will be awarded after approval from the board of directors of the state's distribution utilities and will be completed in 18 months.

A spokesman for TCS confirmed the company had bid for a project in the state.
