YSR shock deaths a publicity stunt: Congress MP
Hyderabad, Sep 30: Intensifying the war of words, a Congress MP has labelled the shock deaths following the death of YS Rajashekhara Reddy as 'bogus'.
Rajya Sabha member V Hanumantha Rao, who is against the campaign launch by the YSR loyalists to make YS Jaganmohan Reddy the Chief Minister, said that the 600 shock deaths was just a publicity stunt.
"These are all bogus and a publicity stunt. They have included even routine deaths and suicides in their account," Rao said during a debate on television on Tuesday, Sep 29.
Arguing against YSR's son being crowned the successor of his father, Rao claimed that Jagan's supporters were trying to blackmail the party's central leadership through claims of shock deaths.
