Special prayers offered for animals of Indore zoo

Indore, Sept 29 (ANI): Worried by the death of around 20 animals in past three month, the zoo and civic authorities here got together to conduct special prayers for the long life and good health of the animals.

"We have started these prayers for the animals in this zoo. We are praying for their well being and long life," said Mahesh Dutt Shastri, a priest.

The civic agency removed 25 zoo employees, including the superintendent and zoo in-charge for negligence of duty, after the death of animals including that of a white tiger cub. (ANI)
