Shopian Case: CBI finds loopholes in SIT probe

Srinagar, Sep 21: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) which has started investigating the Shopian Double Murder case from the start is said to have found some loopholes in the probe conducted by Special Investigative Team of Jammu Kashmir police.

The team said that many leads in the case have not been investigated properly by SIT. This includes the letter written by a classmate of one of the victim, Aasiya claiming the she might have been murdered by the family as she was close to a boy which her brother opposed of.

According to official sources, CBI will also be talking to forensic experts on if exhuming the bodies of the two victims after almost four month since the death would be of any use or not.

Apart from this, the sleuths are looking for the man who cleaned the froth from Neelofar's mouth.
