NSA calls meet on Chinese incursions
New Delhi, Sep 17: Amid the increased instances of border violations from China, India has convened a meeting of the China Study Group on Thursday, Sep 19 to take stock of the situation along the Sino-Indian border.
The meeting which will comprise of top officials, will be chaired by National Security Advisor (NSA) M K Narayanan.
Officials like Cabinet Secretary K M Chandrasekhar, Defence Secretary Pradeep Kumar, Home Secretary G K Pillai, Foreign Secretary Nirupama Rao are expected to attend the meeting.
The group which is also expected to draft India"s response to the border violations will also consist of the chiefs of the three armed forces and the Intelligence Bureau.
