Guj: UK molestation victim humiliated in court

Ahmedabad, Sep 16: A UK student who was humiliated during the hearing of her molestation case in Ahmedabad metropolitan court has reportedly written a complaint letter to the Gujarat High Court.

The 23-year-old British student who is in India for a three-month internship program alleges that a plumber molested her.

The victim who lives in Satellite area told the police that the plumber, Pragnesh Chhatrada who came to her flat to fix the shower had molested her.

The girl who took the case to the court with great difficulty was met with questions like "How many of your room mates smoke?", "Do you drink?" during the trial.

The student who felt humiliated broke down in the court and pleaded for privacy during the trial.
