Indiatimes, Dish TV enter into strategic tie up
New Delhi, Sep 16: Indiatimes.com, the internet venture of Times Group, and Dish TV have entered into strategic tie up to offer customers a mobile interactive service called 'Mobile Active'.
"Through 'Mobile Active', viewers can preview mobile content like ringtones, wallpapers, text alerts and contests on their TV and download it onto their mobile handsets," Dish TV said in a statement.
Dish TV Chief Operating Officer Salil Kapoor said, "Through our latest offering Mobile Active, our main focus is on empowering our young customers and giving them an easy user interface to download mobile VAS products. We have joined hands with Indiatimes.Com to bring 'Mobile Active' to our 5.7 million subscribers."
