CM YSR still missing: AP officials

Hyderabad, Sep 2: Addressing a press conference on whereabouts of the Chief Minister, the Andhra Pradesh's finance minister K Rosaih denied the media reports and said that CM YS Rajashekhara Reddy has not been found.

The Minister said that the CM's chopper has not yet been located and that the search operations are still on. Urging the media to not spread panic, Mr Rosiah said that the CMO hopes to find the CM before it gets dark.

Informing that the bad weather and dense forest were severely hampering the search operations, the officials appealed to the people to inform the office if they had any information that could help with the search.

This comes after the local TV reports said that the CM had been traced and he was on his way to Hyderabad.

The Chief Minister who was on his way to Chittoor from Hyderabad went missing. The chopper carrying him had to make an emergency landing at Kurnool due to bad weather, say reports.
