CAT 2009 date announced
New Delhi, Aug 31: The Common Admission Test held over a period of 10 days would begin on Saturday, Nov 28, said an official report.
The test will be conducted online through a US based firm at 30 centres including Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, New Delhi, Chennai, Kochi, Guwahati, Mumbai, Kolkata and Hyderabad.
IIMs at Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Kolkata, Indore, Kozhikode, Lucknow and Shillong offer 1,800 seats.
Through CAT merit list, 50 other reputed B-schools in the country give admission to students.
Catiim.in, the CAT website would publish the result on Jan 22, 2010.
In 2009, about 2.5 lakh students appeared for CAT.
