RSS assures BJP crisis will be resolved
New Delhi, Aug 30: To resolve the growing crisis within the BJP, Senior RSS leader Madandas Devi, on Sunday, Aug 30, addressed a press conference.
Madandas Devi said that RSS is hopeful the crisis will be resolved. He also said that RSS is assured BJP will stand united and emerge stronger.
He reiterated that the BJP will take its own decisions and decide its future for itself.
Meanwhile, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat reached LK Advani's residence for a meeting on Sunday, Aug 30. They had earlier met on Saturday, Aug 29, over the infighting in the BJP and the succession formula for the party.
According to sources, RSS wants new Leader of Opposition and they want it to be a transition. Sources said that RSS is also trying to get everyone on board. Advani may remain in advisory role even if removed.
