RIL-RNRL Dispute: SC defers hearing to Oct 20
New Delhi, Aug 28: The Supreme Court deferred the hearing on the Ambani gas row to Oct 20.
The bench headed by Chief Justice KG Balakrishnan took this decision on Friday, Aug 28 after Reliance Industries (RIL) counsel suggested that the hearing be held on Oct 20.
Anil Ambani group counsel Mukul Rohtagi had no objections to it.
The hearing that was scheduled to take place on Sep 1 had to be deferred as the Chief Justice heading the bench in the case had another engagement.
The two brothers are battling against each other over the pricing of oil in the KG Basin.
