Bangalore: Swine flu claims life of 50-year-old

Bangalore, Aug 24: With a 50-year old woman succumbing to the H1N1 virus in Bangalore on Sunday, Aug 23, the Swine flu death toll of Karnataka mounts to 13.

Sarojamma was admitted in the hospital on Aug 15 and has been administered with the anti-viral drug, Tamiflu on Aug 17.

Just after she was given the drug, she showed signs of recovery. However, her condition deteriorated in the past two days and she passed away on Sunday, Aug 23.
