Muslims in India begin to observe Ramadan
New Delhi, Aug.23 (ANI): Muslims across the country have started observing the holy fasting month of Ramadan from Sunday except in Kerala, where devouts have started the fast from Saturday.
Muslims around the world unite in a period of fasting and spiritual reflection.
However this year Ramadan is subdued due to the prolonged recession and rising inflation. (ANI)
