New Delhi, Aug 17: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh who is meeting the Chief Ministers on Monday, Aug 17, is expected to be addressing the meet on national concerns such as drought, spiraling prices, and internal security.

Earlier, while speaking on the drought situation the Prime Minister promised Centre's support to all the states. Dr Singh is expected to speak on the same lines and will be asking the states to help the Centre formulate a plan of action to beat the drought.

Due to the recent rise in Naxalism and other internal terrorist activities, Manmohan Singh will also be talking to the Chief Ministers on the internal security issue.

The meet that is going to take place in New Delhi will see discussions on law and order, coastal security, strengthening of intelligence wing, augmenting police forces and preparedness of Quick Reaction Teams, say media reports quoting Home Ministry sources.
