New Delhi, Aug 16: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Sunday, Aug 16 said that the government has decided to establish 71 additional CBI courts across the country to tackle the high pendency of court cases.

Manmohan Singh, in a conference of Chief Ministers and Chief Justices of states, said, "The government on the advice of Chief Justice of India, has agreed to establish 71 additional CBI courts in different states."

Singh also said, "Fast-track courts should conduct their business differently and faster than normal courts, only then we shall be able to tackle the pendency in cases."
