Moderate earthquake hits Port Blair

Port Blair, Aug 15 : Andaman islands was hit by a moderate earth quake measuring 5.3 on Richter Scale on Saturday, Aug 15.

According to the met department, there was no immediate report of any damage.

It was the third earthquake in this week to hit the islands.

On Thursday, the island recorded a moderate quake while a high-intensity earthquake measuring 7.8 on the Richter Scale hit the islands on Aug 11.
