H1N1 claims another life in Pune, toll up to 21

Pune, Aug 13: After the first Swine flu death reported from Bangalore, another death was reported from Pune taking the nation's H1N1 death toll to 21.

A 37-year old woman identified as Archana Kolhe became the latest victim to the Swine flu virus. The woman passed away in a private hospital, Shri Nursing Home on Thursday, Aug 13 afternoon.

With this the number of Swine Flu deaths from Pune rose to 12, while the death toll for the state of Maharashtra stands at 15.

Earlier, a 26-year old teacher, Roopa died in Bangalore's St Phelomena hospital. This was the first Swine Flu death reported from Bangalore.
