Lok Sabha to debate on price rise on Jul 29

New Delhi, Jul 29: The government has decided to debate on the issue of price rise on Wednesday, Jul 29 in Lok Sabha, after the Left parties demanded to discuss the price issue immediately on Tuesday, Jul 27.

"The government is ready for a debate on price rise and it will be taken up tomorrow immediately after the Question Hour," Parliamentary Affairs Minister P K Bansal told the Lok Sabha session.

Earlier, the Lok Sabha was adjourned on Tuesday, Jul 28 as opposition MPs started protesting to dismiss the Question Hour and a discuss on the rise in prices of essential commodities.
