Two bodies found hanging in Noida

Noida, Jul 27: Noida police on Monday, Jul 27 morning discovered bodies of a couple hanging from a tree and an electric pole. While the man was hanging from a electric pole, the woman was hanging from a tree outside a police sentry in Delhi"s suburb.

Superintendent of Police Ashok Tripati revealed that the police found the dead bodies in Sector 15 of Noida around 7 am.

Based on the words 'Pratap Katiyal' and 'Ashok Colony' written on the man's wrist, the police believe that the couple were residents of a nearby village and the man's name could be Pratap Katiyal. However, the police is still trying to verify this.

There are no injury marks on the dead bodies of the victims, which leaves the cause of death unclear.

"We have sent the body for postmortem. We can say whether the incident was a suicide or murder only after the postmortem examination," Tripati said.
