JK: Mehbooba Mufti throws mike at Speaker

New Delhi: There was a furore in Jammu Kashmir assembly on Monday, Jul 27 after PDP leader Mehbooba Mufti threw microphone at Speaker Mohammad Akbar Lone.

The incident took place after PDP leader started raising slogans over the Shopian incident. Speaker dismissed PDP MLAs from the floor of the House. Police officials had forcibly escort MLAs out of the Assembly.

PDP MLAs led by Mehbooba Mufti are staging a sit-in dharna outside the legislative complex protesting the Shopian rape and double murder incident.
