I get 10,000 friend requests everyday: Bill Gates

New Delhi, Jul 27: In an interesting revelation, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates said that he found social networking sites annoying.

While overseeing the philanthropic activities of the foundation he has formed with his wife Melinda, Bill Gates said that he rarely logs out and rarely feels drained. "I am a 24-hour technology person," he said.

He added that when he does feel drained, he reads random articles in silence.

Citing that his Facebook account is flooded with 'friends requests' everyday, he said that he found the social networking sites annoying. "I get 10,000 friend requests everyday. It gets so irritating," Gates said.

Apart from all this he shared that he was not good at text messaging and that it was impressive how the youngsters managed to do it.

"I am not that big at text messaging and I am impressed with the young people doing that," he said.
