NSG comes first in NHRC debate on human rights
New Delhi, July 24 (ANI): The National Security Guards team stood first in both English and Hindi debates while SSB and BSF were declared first and second runners up respectively in a debate organized by NHRC to create awareness about human rights.
The NHRC Delhi Zone Inter CPMFs Human Right Competition was held on Friday at National Security Guard's campus in Manesar.
The daylong competition had teams from various CPMFs of Delhi Zone taking part in the competition.
Justice B C Patel along with other distinguished members of the jury judged the hotly contested debate competition. Senior officers from various forces were also present.
DG NSG NPS Aulakh while inaugurating the said competition emphasized the importance of Human Rights in the day-to-day functioning of various forces.
He said that the topic of the debate "To Strictly Observe Human Rights in all cases of Security Concerns is not possible" has been very aptly selected by the NHRC taking into account the current internal security situation.
Aulakh exhorted the forces to make it their guiding principle while undertaking any operational duty.
The aim of such debate competition held under the aegis of NHRC is to spread Human Right awareness among the Security Forces. (ANI)
