Mumbai: Doctor held for raping medical student

Mumbai, Jul 7: The Mumbai police on Monday, Jul 6 filed a case against a doctor for raping a third-year MBBS student for the last one year at the St George's Hospital.

The victim said, "He has been blackmailing me." The victim also claimed that the doctor had taken pictures and videos of her and stored it in the laptop. While, the accused's laptop has been handed over to the cyber crime investigation cell for probe. The victim's medical report is awaited.

DCP V N Patil said, "Investigations are on." The police have booked the accused for criminal intimidation and taking advantage of his official position and raping a woman in that hospital.
