India: New Swine flu case, total up to 129

New Delhi, Jul 5: An official statement on Saturday, Jul 4 said that the total number of Swine Flu cases in India have now risen to 129.

The statement said, "The only new case reported on Saturday, Jul 4 was of a 23-year-old Thai national who travelled from Bangkok to Mumbai by Thai Airways flight TG 317 that reached Mumbai on June 28 and proceeded further to Kandla port (in Gujarat) to board a ship on which he is a crew member."

"871 persons have been tested so far, of which 129 are positive for Influenza A H1N1. Of 129 positive cases, 90 have been discharged," the statement said.
