Will provide full protection for migrants: Sonia

Malegaon, Jul 1: Congress president, Sonia Gandhi on Tuesday, Jun 30 said the government will provide full protection to all the migrants who come to Maharashtra from others parts of the country for jobs.

She said, "Security of these workers is our first responsibility. Our government will provide full protection to workers who have come here and who not only earn their livelihood but also contribute to Maharashtra's progress."

Sonia Gandhi inaugurated a 200-bed hospital built by the the state government in the Powerloom town, which is also communally sensitive. "This hospital will benefit not only residents of Malegaon but also lakhs of people from adjoining areas," she added.
