Paris, June 27 (ANI): Union Commerce and Industry Minister Anand Sharma on Saturday said that India has plans to convene a meeting of key world trade ministers in September to capitalise on new momentum in global commerce talks.

Taking to media, Sharma said that India was committed to take the Doha Round to a successful conclusion.

On Friday, in his address at the Organization of Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) ministerial meeting in Paris, Sharma stated India has been striving to create a rule based multilateral trading system.

He said that protectionist tendencies of some developed countries in times of economic downturn would adversely impact developing countries.
