Yashwant Sinha wants party to probe leakage of his letter to media
Hazaribagh, June 15 (ANI): Senior Bharatiya Janata party leader Yashwant Sinha, who recently drew wide media attention by writing a letter of discontent and resignation to party President Rajnath Singh, has demanded the leakage of his letter to the media should be investigated.
"I would like to say two things-number one, it should be probed that how that letter was leaked to media because it was my letter and the allegation comes direct on me as if I have leaked it. An impression goes which is not true and I deny it. But that letter was sent to all members of the BJP's core group, so it should be probed where from it was leaked," Yashwant Sinha, said in a media conference here.
Sinha hoped that the issue will be debated in the party.
"I hope the issue that I have raised would be debated in the party and the party would reach to the right conclusion," he said.
After the failure in the polls, cracks have surfaced within the party.
The BJP has witnessed internal strife post poll, with various senior leaders pointing finger at campaign managers for the debacle. (ANI)
