Azad advises people to suspend travel to US

New Delhi, Jun 15: With the six more confirmed cases reported across India, the country has 23 cases of H1N1 Influenza or Swine Flu.

Speaking on this issue, the Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad on Monday, Jun 15 assured that the disease was under control as nearly half of them have been cured. Out of the confirmed cases, 11 have already been cured leaving only 12 cases that need treatment, he said.

"Medicine is available in plenty and the most important thing is that this disease is 100 per cent curable. Out of total 23 cases, 11 have already been treated and discharged," he said.

Speaking to reporters the minister also advised the people to even if not cancel but to 'suspend' travels to United States for the time being.
