Top 10 dangerous search terms in India

New Delhi, Jun 4: With 'Katrina Kaif' turning into a virus on the internet, a lot of attention has been shifted to the most dangerous search items on the internet. PC security giant McAfee Inc has released a list of the words that are now dubbed as the most dangerous search terms on the internet.

McAfee's report titled 'The Web's Most Dangerous Search Terms', which was the outcome of an extensive research analysing over 2,600 of the most popular search terms of 2008 from a range of sources has unveiled the search terms that are used as baits by hackers.

The Indian result of the study showed that the ten most dangerous search terms in India are:

  1. Waptrick
  2. Katrina Kaif
  3. Orkut
  4. Yahoo Mail
  5. Shahid Kapoor
  6. Rediffmail
  7. How to Earn Money
  8. Namitha
  9. Shimla
  10. Beijing 2008 Olympic Games

Interestingly searching for seemingly harmless terms like 'iPhone' and 'Barack Obama' proved more dangerous than searching for terms like 'Viagra'.
