India to resume talks with Pak

New Delhi, Jun 4: India is likely to resume talks with Pakistan before US secretary to the state, Hilliary Clinton's visit in the month of Jul.

The dialogue between the two countries has been suspended since the 26/11 attacks in Mumbai. India is hoping that the dialogue with Pakistan could solve the terror problem of the country in the future.

S M Krishna, the new external affairs minister, said, "Never negotiate out of fear, but never fear to negotiate." India is likely to take up initiative of breaking the ice between the two countries with this talks.

There are two main reasons why India would like to begin talks. Firstly, India wants to stop the terror attacks by Pakistan on its soil in the future. Secondly, India does not want to succumb to the pressure of US to resume talks with Pakistan.

Official sources said that Pakistan is planning another attack in Jammu and Kashmir to blackmail India for resuming talks. However Indian government wants to stop all such blackmail by Pakistan.
