Union Cabinet meeting to be held on May 30

New Delhi, May 30: The Union Cabinet will meet to discuss the agenda before the new government on Saturday, May 30 in Delhi.

Presided over by the Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh, the Cabinet is likely to discuss the business of the forthcoming Parliament session and President's address to the joint session.

The President's address is likely to incorporate its commitment to strengthening schemes like the NREGA.

A suggestion to bring the long pending women's reservation bill at the earliest was made at the first meeting of the UPA alliance recently presided by Chairperson Sonia Gandhi.
