Wipro expanding fast in Middle East: Premji
Dubai, May 27: Wipro Ltd, India's leading outsourcing company said that its operations were expanding fast in the Middle East.
Azim Premji, Wirpo Chairman said, "We are growing more than 50 per cent a year in the Middle East. We see higher potential in markets that have not been penetrated such as the Middle East, Portugal and Brazil."
6 pc of Wipro's total sales share come from Middle East said Premji. Though he did not give figures, he said that this was set to increase.
Telecom, banking and government sectors are the key areas of growth in the Middle East. Azim Premji said that Wipro is not looking at any acquisitions.
