Youth icon Rahul Gandhi is now gay icon too

New Delhi, May 25: Rahul Gandhi, who emerged as the youth icon after the Lok Sabha polls is the new gay icon. The lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans-gender (LGNT) community voted overwhelmingly for the Congress hoping that young Rahul will fight for their cause too.

But the critics said that it is just a passing phase and the support has more to do with Rahul's charisma than his work. "We cannot just trust them just because Rahul is good looking. He has to prove himself," says Nitin Karani, Editor-at-Large of Gay Bombay.

Will gays dimpled icon Rahul Gandhi take up their cause and emerge as a hero, we need to wait and see.
