Sharad Pawar takes charge as Agriculture Minister

New Delhi, May 25: Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar on Monday, May 25 took charge as Minister of Agriculture, Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution

Pawar had previously held the posts of Defence Minister and Maharashtra Chief Minister.

He convened a meeting of senior officials and took stock of the situation in the field of agriculture.
