India: 2 suspected cases of Swine flu quarantined

Coimbatore, May 18: Two more suspected cases of swine flu has been reported in India. A man who flew in from New Jersey, along with his mother have been quarantined at the government hospital in Coimbatore.

The 26 year old youth who was studying MBA in New Jersey came to the country four days ago. He is said to be suffering from mild fever and soar throat. His aunt who is a doctor noticed that the symptoms like fever, muscle pain and severe headache are the symptoms of the flu. His 55 year old mother who was suffering from the same symptoms was brought into Coimbatore Medical College Hospital.

“As they showed symptoms, we have quarantined them. However, only blood tests will confirm if they have swine flu," hospital dean Dr V Kumaran reportedly told Times Of India.

A confirmed case of Swine Flu has already been reported from Hyderabad on Saturday, May 16.
