LS polls: Fan commits suicide over Chiru's failure

Kakinada, May 18: Hearing the news of mega star Chiranjeevi's defeat in Palakollu assembly constituency in the just concluded general elections, a die-hard fan allegedly committed suicide on Sunday, May 17 night.

Nalla Narayana Giri (45), a mason by profession consumed pesticide at his residence in Kothalanka village of Mummidivaram Mandal in Konaseema Region. Though he was rushed to hospital in Amalapuram immediately, he succumbed on Monday, May 18 morning.

He is survived by two daughters, a son and his wife.
