Women held with fake currency in Amritsar
Amritsar May 8 (ANI) The customs staff posted at the Attari railway station, Amritsar, seized fake Indian currency worth Rs one lakh fifty thousand from a lady passenger Shakila, coming from Pakistan in Samjhauta Express last night.
Taking to reporters here, S. K. Luthra, Assistant Commissioner Custom, said after interrogation the lady reveled out that another Indian lady presently residing at Lahore given her bag that would further collected by his son at New Delhi railway station.
However, the accused denied of being involved in the whole case.
While talking to media she said that she was ignorant about the fake currency since the bag was not belong to her.
