It's NRIs Vs Ram Gopal Varma over national anthem

Bangalore, May 7: A group of Non-resident Indians who were moved by the unpatriotic act of using the National Anthem as the backgroud score of a new movie Run by a well know film maker, Ram Gopal Verma have started 'Save Indian National Anthem' campaign.

The NRIs who found it intolerable to let a director use the Indian National Anthem in a commercial movie staring Amitabh Bachchan have called on the citizens of the country to join the campaign on 'Save Indian National Anthem'.

The campaign is in the process the compiling enough views in order to address the same to the president Prathiba Patel along with other authorities who protect intellectual property of India. The plea will also be forwarded to Prime Minister of India Sri. Manmohan Singh, Chief Ministers of Sates, Leaders for Change, and Freedom Fighters Associations.

Voicing their opposition over this decision of Ram Gopal Varma, the group have asked the director to think again about his decision and not to consider the issue as publicity through controversy.
