Adnan Sami's wife alleges torture, files case

Mumbai, May 5: Adnan Sami, the Pakistani singer's wife Saba filed an FIR accusing him of torture, cheating and extortion on Tuesday, May 5. Mumbai police said that a 72-hour notice is served to Adnan Sami prior to his arrest, allowing him time to seek anticipatory bail in accordance with a court directive.

This is the second time Saba filing a complaint against Adnan. Niket Kaushik, the Deputy Police Commissioner said, "Saba lodged an FIR with Oshivara police alleging that Adnan has tortured her physically and mentally. A probe is on." Saba had alleged in the complaint that Adnan Sami is not giving possession of 5 flats he had gifted to her. Also he is yet to pay back Rs 5.30 crore which he had taken from Saba.
