Jaya vows to send Indian Army to SL to form Eelam

Chennai, Apr 30: With the LTTE issue taking the centre stage in Tamil Nadu polls, All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazagam (AIADMK) supremo Jayalalithaa has said that if a government of her choice is formed at the centre she would send Indian army to Sri Lanka to form a separate Tamil Eelam.

Addressing an election meeting on Wednesday, Apr 29 said, "If a central government of my choice is formed, I will steps to send our troops to Sri Lanka to form separate Eelam."

Launching an assault on the Congress for criticising her of not knowing the international law, she recalled the incidents of Indira Gandhi sending the Indian Army to form Bangladesh and Rajiv Gandhi sending IPKF to Sri Lanka.
