Vishva Hindu Parishad to support BJP
Ahmedabad, Apr 24 (ANI): Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) leader Ashok Singhal on Friday said his organisation would support the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to win the ongoing general elections.
"The BJP is the only party which supports issues of Hindu and is concerned about terrorism, conversion and other issues. We will work to see the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) Government is defeated and a new government led by BJP is voted to power in the Lok Sabha polls," Singhal told reporters here.
Singhal further said the BJP is the only party, which could redeem the lost honour of the Hindu society.
When asked about temples demolished by the authorities in Gandhinagar, Singhal said Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi had assured him to give land to build temples. (ANI)
