CBI arrests 3 more Satyam employees
Hyderabad, Apr 6: Three more employees of fraud hit Satyam Computers were arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) officials on Sunday, Apr 5 including a top executive of the company.
"We arrested three employees last night who designed the mechanism for the fraud and they were involved in preparing fake monthly bank statements and other documents," CBI DIG V V Lakshmi Narayana said to media persons.
Vice-President (Finance) G Ramakrishna, D Venkatpati Raju and Srisailam of finance department were arrested by the CBI. THe name of G Ramakrishna was mentioned by former Satyam CFO Srinivas Vadlamani during an interrogation by a high-powered team of the ICAI.
So far 9 people are arrested in connection with the 7,000 crore Satyam fiasco.
