Naveen Patnaik has assets worth Rs 7.98 crore

Bhubaneswar, Apr 5: Naveen Patnaik, the Orissa Chief Minister and Biju Janata Dal supremo while filing nomination claimed of possessing assets worth Rs 7.89 crore, including a diamond button set, Rs 57,076 in bank deposits and a 1980 model car.

Patnaik is seeking re-election from his home town of Hinjili assembly constituency for the third time in a row. Son of former Orissa Chief Minister Biju Patnaik, Naveen's other assets include one-fourth share in the estate of Biju Patnaik situated at 3, Aurangazeb Road, New Delhi and valued about Rs 2.30 crore, bank balance and due from others at about Rs 8.70 Lakh.
