Varun to remain behind bars for 3 weeks
Pilibhit, Mar 30: Varun Gandhi, the new 'Hindutva' face of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)was granted bail by the local court in criminal cases filed against him. However Varun will remain in jail atleast for three more weeks as he also faces charges under the stringent National Security Act (NSA).
Varun was granted bail in two cases filed against him for inflammatory hate speeches he made during election campaigns in Pilibhit and violence by his supporters when he was arrested on Saturday, Mar 27. Meanwhile backing Varun, BJP decided to observe 'Black Day' and said that the young Gandhi will be its candidate from Pilibhit.
