Annie Lennox finds music industry 'vile'

London, Mar 25 (ANI): Scottish singer Annie Lennox has revealed that she finds the music industry "vile" and that she had withdrawn from the limelight to protect her kids.

Lennox, 54, believes corruption abounds in the business in which she made her name and it has taught her to trust very few people.

"The music industry is a bloody nightmare," the Daily Express quoted her as saying.

"The egos, the slightly criminal elements, the betrayers, the ones who want to screw you, the ones who were in it for this, that or the other.

"Sometimes I've been so shocked at how vile somebody has been. But you just have to let it go, otherwise it could drive you mad," she added. (ANI)
