Sale slump, expects loss in Q1: Sony Ericsson
Bangalore, Mar 20: Sony Ericsson one of the world's largest mobile phone makes announced that the company is expecting a loss in the first three months of this year as sales are hit by the ongoing global recession.
It predicts a net loss between 340m euros and 390m euros for the quarter. Sony Ericsson said that both retailers and distributors are cutting their stock. For the first quarter the company is planning to ship around 14 million phones. Sony Ericsson is set to announce its full quarterly results on Apr 17.
