Mulayam accused of bribing villagers in Saifai, UP

Lucknow, mar 12: Mulayam Singh led Samajwadi Party is again in the limelight certainly for a wrong reason. Mulayam reportedly distributed money to people during Holi celebrations, violating the election model code of conduct.

Reports suggest that Samajwadi Party workers distributed money to people at 'Holi Milan', a Holi celebration organised for Mulayam Singh Yadav at Saifai. A report in CNN-IBN channels shows SP workers handing over Rs 100 note to every person present at the celebration, as a tradition followed here for years. Police and District Magistrate have rushed to Saifai to probe into the issue.

Lok Sabha polls are scheduled to happen in Apr-May and several national parties have urged the government to initiate a strict probe in to the case.
